liberate your mindkilling the old way(with a sword) 12/12/2005 damn msn/animecon/and some other stuffWell it's about time for a new blog entry.
First off i would like to say that i friggen hate msn 7.5.
Sometimes i acts so strange.
Things like not showing if i'm online or not and not beig able to send messages to people or people not being able to talk to me because msn says i'm offline while i am clearly online.
I hope they solve these problems with msn 8.0.
I'm not 100% sure it's because of msn 7.5, it could also be a glitch in my account.
But who cares, I just made a new account and that one works fine. Another thing i'm really NOT happy about is the fact that i cant see my girlfriend for quite some time.
I probably have to miss her for atleast one more month.
I wont go into details on the how and why of things, but it basically comes down to her father not really liking the fact that she has a boyfriend because he thinks she is to young to have a boyfriend -_-
since when is 16 to young for having a boyfriend?? O.o
So we are now having kind of a secret relationship, hmm... that sounds kinda wrong XP
Until her father says she is old enough to have a boyfriend.
Which according to him is 21 -_-
Yes that means we have to do everything secretly for 4 and a half years. But we are not planning on letting that stand between us.
Well just have to get through a few though years.
but that is no problem when you really love eachother, and that we most certainly do.
But enough about that.
Lets talk about anime.
Bleach is getting more interresting each episode.
Great battles, interresting plot-twists, good character developement, and enough things to look forward to.
Characters who seemed to be dead suddenly aren't as dead as appeared to be.
And there are also some new types of characters who are said be introduced soon.
So it will most probably be getting even more interresting then it already is.
On the down side of things Naruto is in the middle of a filler season which means no story episodes but only side story and plain useless episodes.
My interrest in Naruto is absolutely 0 at the moment.
I havent even seen the last 6 episodes.
I really like the serie but only when they follow the main story.
these filler eps are just useless and annoying.
One of my other favorite series already ended.
I'm talking about full Metal Panic the second raid.
It was only 13 episodes long, and that's way to short for something that good.
It really is a great series and i really want to see a real full season sequel.
And i think there is a good chance that that will happen because allot of things remained unexplained at the end of FMP tsr.

well that's the list.
It's quite allot of stuff but i dont order things all that often (about 3 to 4 time's a year) and i always place big orders because its cheaper.
Oh yeah i also thought about buying an Xbox 360 but i eventually didnt buy it because the games are just plain crap and the graphics arent all that great on a normal tv.
You need a HDtv to get the best graphics and those things cost about 1500 euro's and that's just way to expensive.
And secondly because i just bought a new tv about a year ago and i dont want to buy a new way to expensive tv just for better graphics in videogames.
Oh yes before i forget, Animecon 2006 ticket sales are starting soon.
Animecon is one of the two animeconventions in the netherlands.
It's being held from 30th june until 2nd july.

I can recommend any animefan to come to events like this.
It's a great way to meet other people who are into anime and manga.

Well its my own fault because going to sleep at 3:30 and getting up at 8:00 four night in a row just cant be good for you. Well I dont really have anything else to complain about.
I'm doing pretty well lately... i think... yeah i'm doing fine ^_^ Updated a little today, three new photo's of me (because i didn't know what else to do and i was bored :P)
Also two new games in my games list.
Well when i said i was doing fine a was a little bit to optimistic.
There is one thing that i'm a bit sad about, and that's the fact that I mis my girlfriend allot. But okay enough about that.
I dont have anything else to tell right now.

I'm really tired right now because i didnt sleep alot the past few nights. Yesterday i was up at 5:30 because i had a train to catch at about 7:30. And i had to get up that early because i'm really slow in the morning. I'm so slow in the morning that i need about a hour just to get dressed and stuff. Well it was not like i hated to get up that early because i had nice things to look forward to that day. I went to visit my girlfriend who lives about 3 hours away by train. But that's not very interresting to anyone i think. Well i had a nice day but then it was time to go home by train again(i really hate traveling by train). I almost missed my station because i fell asleep in the train and woke up just before the station i had to get off. Well not that any of these things really concern you in anyway but like i said i dont know what to write so i'm just writing some random thing about my weekend.
Talking about weekends... the weekend before this one i went to ABUNAI(abunai is a dutch anime convention). And if you dont know what anime is just look through my space and you will get a idea what its all about. But i wanted to tell somethings about my ABUNAI weekend... so here goes.
I wont tell anything about what it is and stuff because i already explained it in a previous blog entry. Well i had to travel by train as always when i want to get anywhere outside of groningen. It was really boring until i met some cosplayers in the train to enschede. I talked with them a bit and walked with them to the convention and we then split up because someone yelled something at me and it turned out to be the guy i met at the previous animeconvention witch was in may. Oh and cosplayers are people that dress up as their favorite anime character. Well i went and talked a bit with the guy and his friend and then we decided to take a look at the convention. It was a bit dissapointing to say the least but then again it was only the second hour of the first day. After a while i decided to take a look around the convention on my own. Offcourse that turned out to be very boring and i decided to take a look at the gameroom. Well offcourse it was still closed(just my luck)after awhile i got into a conversation with two guys. One off the two guys came all the way from england just for ABUNAI and he was cosplaying as Kakashi who is a character from the anime series Naruto. Well i spend some time talking with them and finally we decided to get some lunch because waiting in front of the gameroom was beginning to get bothersome and boring. We had some lunch and then went to the gameroom witch was finally open after about 4 hours.
We had allot of fun playing all different kinds of games. After a few hours we decided to go our seperate ways and i went to check out the rest of the convention. After about half a hour of walking around i went back to the gameroom and there i met up with the guy and his friend from earlier that day(the one from the other animeconvention). We spend some time gaming and at around 6:30 we started to get a little hungry so we went to get something to eat or at least that was the idea.
But offcourse there was a line of about 1 hour in front of the restaurant where you had to get your food. So we decided to just skip dinner and went back to the gameroom. We stayed there for a few hours and then we went to the karaoke bar and listened to people sing or trying to sing witch was actually pretty funny and entertaining.
After a few hours a few people of the organisation came in and apologised for the lateness of some of the events that day and to make up for that everyone got a small box free pocky(pocky is a sort of chocolate covered breadstick). After a few hours we decided to get some sleep because we were pretty tired so we parted ways as i went to my hotelroom and they went to their tent.
I had a pretty bad night and only slept for about 4 hours.
After i woke up and got dressed and stuff i went to get some breakfast.
While i was waiting in the breakfast line i met up with a guy i met before. So we decided to get breakfast together and talked a bit. After that i went to the trainstation to pick up my girlfriend and some of her friends who were supposed to arrive at 10:15 but they missed their train and were a hour late. I didnt know that ofcourse so i waited for about 30 minutes at the trainstation and they still werent there so i went back to the convention and used a payphone to call my girlfriend to ask her what was wrong. But she didnt answer her phone so i just hoped she was allright and went to look around the convention to see if she was already there.
And after about one hour i finally found her and her friend at the campsite setting up their tents. Offcourse i asked them what happened and she said they stepped into the wrong traincar and got left behind at the trainstaton. Well after that i talked with some of her friends because she was bussy setting up her tent. After that the group split up into a guy group and a girl group.
And the guy group witch includes me decided to go to the gameroom and hang out there allmost the entire day except for the cosplay competition(witch we almost completely missed because we forgot to watch the time) and the occasional visit to the supermarket and the tent. Oh and we went to the dealerroom for about half a hour but i didnt buy anything. After the cosplay competition we decided to find the girls witch turned out to be harder then we thought.
After about half a hour we finally found them and decided to get something to eat.
We decided not to wait in the dinner line but instead we went to the mcdonalds nearby. I dont like the food at the mcdonalds all that much but who am i to say no when everyone else says yes. But i found something i kinda liked so i had at least something to eat.
after that we went back to the convention and decided to take al look at the karaoke bar.
Well we actually had to go there because me and jose(jose is my girlfriend) had entered de karaoke competition and that started in about 10 minutes. So i had to rush to my hotelroom to get my toyguitar(yes i said toyguitar)and then rush back to be in time for the start of the karaoke competition. When i got back we went in to look when it was our turn to sing and it turned out we where the last to sing so we had to wait for about one and a half hour. We decided to go outside because it was way to warm inside and we didnt want to stand in an bar for about one and a half hour. We talked and had allot of fun while we were waiting outside after about one and a half hour we decided to go take a look inside and we had to wait about 10 minutes before it was our turn.
Well then the moment of truth arrived it was our turn i was extremely nervous and i was just hoping i remembered the lyrics and i wouldnt fall or anything like that.
And actually it went surprisingly well and the audience really liked it so i was really relieved because i really feared that i would choke and forget my lyrics and screw up bigtime. Well we didnt win but we didnt expect to win and we did not enter to win so that was not really a dissapointment.
But at least it was fun and that is what matters the most and we didnt go by totally unnoticed because on a forum someone said that our performance was really cool and she really enjoyed it.
after that we went to the tents and talked about allot of thing(mostly anime offcourse).
We sat there for about 2 hours or something and then we decided to go to bed so i went to my hotelroom and they went into their tent.
The final day of the convention has arrived
I was up really early and i didnt sleep well (again).
Well after i got dressed and stuff i went outside and sat down on a bench next to the tents of my girlfriend and her friends.
I sat there for about one and a half or two hours until one of them finally woke up and shortly after the rest got out of their tent aswell and we ate some breakfast we bought the previous day. after that we went back to the convention and to the gameroom(witch was about my home for the weekend).
This time the girls went with us and we also played some DDR(dance dance revolution)witch is a dancing game you play on a dancemat and you step on the arrows on the mat that correspond with the arrows on the screen.
and allot of other games but mostly soul-caliber II because its really fun and one of my favorite games and you can play it against other people you dont even know and still have allot of fun. Well thats about all we did the entire day as far as i can remember because i was so tired by then that my memory of the day is a little bit blurry.
Later that day we went back to the tents to take them down and pack our bags and stuff.
We also ate a some off the leftovers of the day before and that mornings breakfast. So our dinner mostly consisted of potato chips and old dry bread and cola and stuff. After that it was time to go home so we took the bus to the trainstation and we said our goodbye's.
We didnt have much time to say goodbye because our trains left in about 5 minutes so we had to rush. And then came the trainride from hell.
I had to sit on a foldoutseat near the traindoor next to a annoying old woman who thought that she could take up two seats when she actually not even needed one.
I was happy when i arrived at the trainstation and could get of of that damn train. Well i had to wait for about 30 minutes for the bus to arrive and take me home. Finally home and way to tired to do anything i went to the livingroom and told my parents and sister(no i didnt forget about you) a bit about the weekend and after that i went to my bed and fell asleep almost immediately. Well and that concludes my story about my ABUNAI weekend.

I just added a new musiclist.
It's a list of three albums from the band Finger Eleven.
They are one of my favorite bands.
I just discovered them about a month or two ago.
I also added a few new anime to my anime list.
I just bought a few new dvd's when i was in groningen with a friend of mine.
Groningen is a city not to far away from the town where i live.
And it's the only place where i can buy anime without having to travel for several hours.
I can always buy over the internet but that takes a week or so and i'm not always that patient.
The anime i bought are: Love hina boxset 6 dvd's complete series
Haibane renmei boxset 4 dvd's complete series
Tenchi muyo movie collection 3 dvd's 3 movies

But the sad thing is i havent had time to watch even one dvd the last few days.
That reminds me Abunai is only three weeks away.
I'm really exited about going to Abunai.
Abunai is a anime-convention in the netherlands witch is being held from the 9th of september till the 11th of september in enschede.
it's one of the two anime-conventions in the netherlands.
The other one is the animecon witch was held in may of this year.
Animecon 2005 was my first anime-convention and got me instandly hooked on anime-conventions.
It's so much fun meeting people with the same interrests as you and talking about anime and watching alot of anime offcourse and playing games in between.
and offcourse getting way to little sleep and being some kind of anime watching zombie at the end of the three day weekend.
I hope i will get some more sleep during Abunai but i fear the worst.
I can already see myself sitting in the karaoke-bar until three or four in the morning.
But that is al just part of the experience i think.
I know that probably not one of the people that reads this is going to Abunai or any anime-convention at all.
But if you are even the slightest bit interrested in anime i can advice you to just go to an anime-convention even if it is just once.
I just know you will enjoy it because you can watch anime talk about anime play games and make new friends.
just think about it... okay.

greetz: Neogundanium 8/17/2005 My Games listWell i was bored again and decided to put up a list of my videogames.
I made the list as complete as possible.
Meaning i put al relevant and recent games in the list.
I didn't put all of my games in the list because some are to old or useless to put them in the list.
Well all my PS2 games are in the list and most of my remaining PSone games are in the list as well.
All games have a link to a site with info on the game.
For some games it was hard to find a page with a decent amount of info but i managed to find a good page for almost every game except a few old ones.
I dont think anyone is really interrested in my games collection but putting up a list kills time and that was the idea behind it all.
well not much more to tell because not much is happening around here lately.
It's kinda boring to be honest.
But it wont take long until Abunai 2005.
Just four more weeks and it will be convention time again.
I'm really looking forward to it.
Watching anime meeting people with the same interrests as me and i am going to compete in the karaoke competition.
The only problem is i cant sing even if my life depended on it.
But i probably wont be the only one..... i hope.
Or else i hope my singing partner will make up for my poor performance by singing good.

Oh almost forgot i put up a few new BLEACH pics as well^_^ 7/28/2005 Full Metal Panic! The Second RaidYes finally the first two episodes of Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid.
The sequel to Full Metal Panic! one of the best mecha anime series of all time.
And judging from the first two episodes the sequel will be even better.
here are a few examples of why it will probably be better then the first series.
A guy singing Ave Maria during a massacre.
Kicking people out of helicopters just for fun.
Building a radar on the roof of the school just to be on the safe side.
Threatening a perverted student with a knife and a gun just to find out why he was taking pictures of a certain girl in the girls lockerroom.
And the main character is not finding any of these things weird or abnormal.
but he is a paranoid military weirdo who is ordered to protect a certain girl who really doesn't like him following her every where and using military tactics at school.
and a lot more stupid and funny things as well as some great battles with mechs.

because it is just a great game with wonderfull music.

I also begun with a list of FFVIII music but i cant remember the composer of the music from FFVIII so i will continue with that later.
I also put up art taken from the Dynasty Warriors 5 Artbook.
because i like the game and character design.

and for people that do not know what a konoha forehead protector is or who gaara is go watch the anime Naruto and you will know.

7/20/2005 The cloudswatching the clouds float overhead.
it gives me a feeling of happiness and pain at the same time.
it makes me think of what i have done and what i could have done.
the things that went wrong in my live.
the things other people do to themselves and eachother.
the pain people cause eachother for their own benefit.
the things people do just to satisfy their own needs.
but also the happiness you can get from just being with your family and friends.
and the warmth of friendship and love.
just knowing that there are people that care about you.
just knowing that you always can count on someone to be there when you need them.
if you ever feel sad or down just watch the clouds and think about these things.
and remember that you are you for a reason.
you are special and deserve to live no matter what other people say.

 well i am finally getting somewhere with my drawings.
i have been trying to get as good as i was a few years ago but it will take some time to get the feeling back and stuff but it is beginning to look like something although it is not so good yet.
I finally passed the 100 mark on downloading Naruto episodes so only 42 episodes to go and i'm at the newest episode although it will still take about 2 or 3 days before i have the last 42.
not much else to tell exept that bleach is getting better and better every episode and i cant wait for the next episode.
I also decided to enter the karaoke competition at abunai together with a friend of mine.
we are going to try and do the song GO!!! by Flow the opening song for the 4th season of Naruto.
I am not much of a singer but it should be fun nontheless.
not much more to tell because i am not doing much except being lazy and having fun.
